Amidst the riots in Baltimore, and the cases of Mike Brown and Eric Garner, it is a pertinent season to re-examine our framework of social justice.
How we prioritize material goods, opportunity, or human dignity will shape our perspective on how social justice should be expressed.
Furthermore, how we view and respond to a person’s spheres of relationship (from family, to local gov’t, to the federal gov’t) plays a factor into how social justice can and should be expressed.
